Exciting events & competitions are staged through out the year...

2017 Review

As usual we have had many members go to represent their club at A4 events. As an area there were more than 1500
entries to this years' events with us putting forward 83 of those. These have included juniors and seniors, regular
competitors and those either competing for the first time or returning to competition after a long break.

Everyone who competed gained from the experience and hopefully thoroughly enjoyed riding for their club.

Many of our members were placed at these events throughout the season and its thrilling if we manage
to qualify to go on to any of the championships. This year we had many individuals and teams qualify.

The Junior Novice Winter SJ Team went on to win the title so well done
to Ruby Thompson, Jess Earp, Erin Smith and Amy Hayhurst.

The Senior Intermediate Winter SJ Team of Keira Colgan, Amy Milburn, Lois Teal and Catherine Fairburn
qualified and all rode well at their championships. Junior Ruby Thompson qualified at the Combined
Training and took overall 3rd at the championships.

The Junior Showcross 90 team won both the title and the All 4 Scores count, so again well done to Hannah Marley,
Charlotte Blenkin, Erin Smith and Jess Earp. Hannah and Charlotte both with individual placings.

The Junior Horse Trials 80 team won the All 4 Scores title coming 4th overall, so congratulations to Kitty Denny,
Tilly Marley, Pippa Brown and Ruby Thompson, with Kitty and Tilly both being placed individually.

The Horse Trials 100 team of Nancy Colling, Lizzie Ball, Charlotte Blenkin and Hannah Marley also
qualified but couldn't attend the championships volunteers, plus Hannah individual in the 90cm.

A huge Thank You to everyone who has helped at A4 events throughout
the year. Without helpers we cannot take part, so their help is vital.

Dates have been emailed out to all current members for
the next years' events with entry closing dates.
